The starry-eyed innocent side of me has prevailed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tell you. Something amazing happened.

Something SO amazing that I didn’t even have the time to take pics!!!!!!!!!

Some kindred spirit decided to do a good deed today.

He/she decided to make some people’s days!

Or maybe the person who did it was somebody from Sri Murugan Centre which is just across the road.

Okay la. I shall not keep everybody in suspense.

Those who have been to my house before will know that there is a divider outside my house where you make illegal U-turns.

A few minutes ago, I heard loud bangs. I looked frantically outside, expected to see missiles or whatnot slamming into UH.

I know I have a fertile imagination.

BUT THEN GUESS WHAT I SAW?!?!?! GUESS WHAT I SAW GUESS WHAT I SAW?!

I saw the familiar glow offfffffffffffffffffffffff…

FIREWORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were SO CLOSE TO MY BALCONY OKAY!!!!! Normally when you see fireworks and when you hear them go off, you hear a MUFFLED *bang* right..

Actually it sounds more like a *bup* -_-

BUT THIS ONE I HEAR IS LIKE *BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG* LEH!!!!!!!!11111ONEONEONEONEELEVEN

Then I looked down to see who was the person who was willing to spend a few thousand bucks on fireworks.

I no mood liao. :( Nevermind I will try to continue.

There was nobody there and the fireworks seemed to be coming from the divider.

So the watery-eyed-anime-character in me strangled itself out and I did something very stupid

I made wishes

Yes, I know that people do not wish on fireworks conventionally and that they normally do that kind of stuff on shooting stars and comets and coins thrown into lucky fountains and blablabla.

I made wishes for the most important people in my life. After I went through the list there were still fireworks popping

so I made a second round of wishes for the same people.

There were some people whom I wouldn’t miss out under “normal circumstances”

but I missed them out

There were some people whom I wouldn’t think of when I were to make wishes

but they were among the first people whom I made wishes for

I guess I know who’s really important to me now.

*sad smile*

You don’t know who you are, but I miss you.

=/

“You” is in plural la.

And no, I didn’t remember to make wishes for myself.

I wasn’t going to start my post this way, but

I am very annoyed at Ratu Bunga.

She told me that she went to watch John Tucker Must Die and she also said that if I bought tickets at Leisure Mall for RM5 with my student ID it would be worth it.

Then I said I would buy the DVD

Then she said DVDs are RM 8 apiece

Then I said that you can get 3 DVDs in Penang for RM 10

Then she said “YOU GO PENANG BUY LOR”

This was the sentence that annoyed me. She was implying that I was talking crap because I am in Selangor and here I am somehow talking about DVDs in Penang which is like 4 hours away.

Eskew me.

I then gently pointed out to her [in caps] that MY DAD LIVES IN PENANG. Hello, I don’t say redundant things okay.

Hmph.

Anyhoo.

I have [somewhat] sinned against my laptop.

Man. That sounds so wrong. -_-||

As of this evening, I had

Approximately 23 GB worth of anime/ TV series
Approximately 4 GB worth of pictures
Approximately 7 GB worth of music in my iTunes

And I was wondering why my baby was starting to lag.

Ehehe.

Therefore, I have now started to burn whatever I can into DVDs!!

I say this like I was the one who discovered the magic of DVD-burning. -_-||

I have also realised that running a burning programme and scanning my laptop for viruses at the same time causes MAJOR lag and I should be happy that I am still able to blog normally.

Normally the cursor would be lagging 5 seconds behind real time. It is very miraculous because this is the only thing that seems to be working fine. When I try to open other programmes (eg iTunes), the programme just doesn’t seem to want to be open or it will just cease to respond and close.

Argh.

Nevermind, nevermind. After this round of burning, my darling Dell XPS M1210 will stop lagging!

I hope.

*hugs laptop*

:D
