This is going to be a lengthy, picture-heavy post! :D
(Read: People who aren’t interested just look at the pictures lah ok – they are really nice, even if only I say so myself… :D)
HERE I AM, with The 88 playing on my iTunes, and an empty Blue Man Group mug which previously held Sunkist Lemon & Orange juice next to me and Photobucket open in another tab, PHOTOSHOPPING SOME PICS WHICH I TOOK TODAY AT KLUE’S URBANSCAPES 2008 (edit: the last one was held four years ago la!!!) :D
(random: it was held at KLPAC – WHICH IS A GREAT PLACE FOR PICTURE-TAKING SERIOUSLY)
It was great fun! Didn’t really get to listen to many artistes, generally just mucked around taking pictures of almost everything! It was SO cool. I could seriously literally photograph ANYTHING without being looked at weirdly la!!!!! Everybody else was snapping EVERYTHING too! :) :) :) :) :) :) Merv was with me and I would keep asking him if it was ok for me to photograph (random object) and he was all “snap la! Nobody will even look at you! They’re doing the same thing!”
SO COOL OK. I wish I could do stuff like that wherever I go! That was the single greatest experience for me in a very long time! :) Ok nevermind more on Urbanscapes with the following pics!
The day started when we picked Ben up from Amcorp Mall after Ho Wai picked me up from home! Ben bought cupcakes for us all!

From the green one, clockwise: Lemon, Vanilla butter, Vanilla butter, Chocolate, Walnut and Orange
Ok from now on I am going to use this very mengada label on all my Urbanscape pics because I quite kembang about it :D (although it is actually quite easy to produce :P) The tickets were RM 25 each pre-event and RM 35 at the door BUT Ho Wai had this coupon from KLue which entitled the first 250 people to present the coupon to a free ticket! We arrived early and so Ben and I only paid half-price for the tickets! TANKEW HO WAI :D

customary artsy-wannabe pic :P (see see see I managed to aaaaaaaaaaalmost reproduce the Urbanscapes logo! :D)

TAPAUMAN!!! Haha. This was really cool! The strings attached to the puppet’s appendages were connected to (functioning) tabs of paper which said “PULL” :D
Then we went to watch this REALLY …interesting local film called Flowers in My Pocket. It’s mainly about this guy who is the boss of a mannequin factory and his two kids and some other random characters like this Malay girl called Ayu (by her mom)/ Atan (when she introduces herself) – I THOUGHT SHE WAS A BOY OK. The kids’ names are Ma Li Ah and Ma Li Ohm -_- and when they made friends with Atan, Atan thought that their names were too hard to remember so she gave them “glamour” names: Azmi Abdullah and Azman Abdullah. O_O I thought the film was rather controversial and VERY eccentric – there was a scene where a doctor was portrayed SO terribly all 6 of us were practically having convulsions in disgust and insult!!!!!!!
After the movie we (I, dragging Merv LOL) went downstairs to take more pics!
There was this exhibit which had various objects being suspended by string in space with captions saying how wherever we go we are bound to be restricted by rules and regulations, I found that pretty cool:

Heads will roll…out. *ha. ha.*

I love this pic! SOMEBODY SAVE ULTRAMAN!! AAAAHHHH!! LOL. (sorry I think I’m high on Photoshop -_-)
Merv and I then went outside where I continued playing photographer! :D :D :D

Random: NON-FIBREOPTIC strings radiating from a fixture attached to a tree. I bet the artist was standing under this tree and got inspired by the sun’s rays! Scientist Michelle thinks that this was an attempt to plot the trajectory of sunrays on a given day……. -_-

Random: Sign that screaaams “THIS WAY!!!” (It’s probably not coincidental that it DOES point the way to the marketplace, but I still think that it’s really cool :D Michelle = art jakun)

OH THIS IS REALLY COOL. This is called a Deep Freeze latte from Palate Palette. The “ice cubes” are actually frozen cubes of KOPI O KOSONG and they just add sweetened milk to the cubes!
We then went inside again (IT WAS SO HOT OUTSIDE) to watch live bands perform, and we managed to catch Pesawat! *insert Ben’s redundant attempt at a “humorous” anecdote: “The name so weird la! It’s like naming your band Aeroplane!” *MEGA EYEROLL*
(In case anybody who doesn’t understand Malay reads this, “Pesawat” means aeroplane)

Pesawat! Love the colours! :)
We then went back upstairs to get henna tattoos!

I PROMPTLY (okla not really promptly) REALISED THAT THE VIEWFINDER FOR MY FISHEYE WAS LEFT BEHIND IN THE MOVIE THEATRE FROM THE PREVIOUS MOVIE (ok I also realise that my timeline is totally messed up: it should be movie – henna – movie but I don’t think anybody really cares, haha) so I ended up standing in the theatre for the second half of the movie Kurus so that I could retrieve my viewfinder after it ended…
… and that is how we ended up watching another local movie called Ciplak (tagline: “Another kind of pirate” -_-) which was VERY informative (a bit too informative, I think – I was very scandalised that they actually allowed a movie like this to be aired O_O). Effects were very cool! We were educated on aaaaaaall the intricacies of DVD and VCD buying (CANNOT! I AM STILL VERY SCANDALISED). The concept was interesting but it wasn’t fleshed out enough and the movie turned out to be much too long for its own good.
Then we went downstairs and grooved to some really cool busker percussion <3
And then we hung around to watch Estrella and then we went for dinner at Gourmet Square with Yu Jeat!
And then we came home and I have been sitting in front of the computer for more than 3 hours just to finish this post because I was editing the pics and stupid Photobucket wouldn’t let me upload my stuff.
Ok last pic! Merv requested that I put this up, so:

Him posering with his Bob Marley and The Wailers vinyl record! :) (I forgot that I slowed my camera shutter speed, hence the blurriness – the car was moving ok! hahaha *defensive*)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I’m about done!
Here’s my day in summary:
I find myself realising that I am unhappy and these times have been more frequent than I am comfortable with as of late. It is not a fleeting paroxysmal stab of discontent or indignance or anger or depression – it is the simple realisation of three words: “I am unhappy” (this is also when I realise that things are serious)
BUT (HAHA I bet you thought that I was going to beremo right!)
after Urbanscapes, the only three words that are in my mind are: “I am happy”, and that has made all the difference. :)
Haha I guess this is where I thank Ho Wai for his pestering! :D THANK YOU HO WAI! Eh we should go to the next one!
PS. Kaevo, Jeat and Kwan: YOU SHOULD’VE BEEN THERE!!! :(
PPS. MORE pics in my Fisheye!!! I NEED TO DEVELOP MY FILM ALREADY!!! 3 UNDEVELOPED ROLLS!!!!! :( :( :( :(
Aiyoh you are so pathetic lah.
See you also feel bad for you.
Get a life la ok please, seriously.
It’s painful to see how you’ve… devolved.
I am biased
but
I cannot defend you, because
yes, you meant it
and
yes, you were out to cause hurt
and
no, you aren’t harmless at all
and
you were proud of it.
I am sorry.
(random thoughts catalysed by immaterial prattle of an irrelevant twat)
PS. Sorry for the lack of response to comments as of late, no time! (haha I know right, got time to blog don’t have time to reply comments :P) Thanks for commenting anyway, all of you :D
PPS. Okla the amount of comments I am getting don’t warrant a PS. like the one above… HAHA.

(My first experience taking slow shutter speed shots – it didn’t occur to me that the “night mode” on my camera memang = slow shutter speed because I don’t like using preset modes… Anyway the slowest shutter speed my camera offers is 15 seconds but I can go up to at least 60 seconds with the new software in :D)
I am thinking of embarking on a mission of taking at least one Flickr-worthy pic a day! Woohoo!
PS. It IS a pic of a heart ok no matter what all of you say!!! :( YOU TRY DRAWING LIGHT ART WITH A CAMERA AND SEE. Hmph.

… said the almighty God of Technology and Free Disk Space
(Semi-) Jazzed out
and
Slow dancing in a burning room (in more ways than one – 3, actually, haha)
and
A beautiful mess (truly)
and
Eve the apple of my eye
It has been good. iTunes, my iPod and me. :)
Ah. 43 minutes to the one who names himself after a vegetable.
Haha, whee.
PS. Somebody needs a new name. (No, not the vegetable. :P)
This is either thanks to my now “super” camera (THANK YOU MEZHEN :D), or my (improved) technique (hahaha damn perasan -_-):

Two of the things I love a lot! :)
guitar magic <3
I tell you I want to learn how to play the guitar already lo… and be like Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in August Rush.
(and the one who names himself after a vegetable -_- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH)
This is going to sound rather stupid -_-
I was thinking about Phase 2 then I realised that pretty soon I’m going to have to say byebye to everybody:
Dot, Tracy, Mezhen, Chong Bing, Ho Wai, Merv, Ben, Kwan, Swee Leen, Red etc etc etc
… it’s so sad lo. After 2.5 years and all the drama and craziness… after all the shit and depression…
I don’t make friends easily. Most people probably think I’m a snob because I don’t talk much or smile much if I don’t really know you – not true (the being a snob part): you probably intimidate me. Yes, I am easily intimidated: Swee Leen, Ho Wai, Tracy, Ben and Merv can all attest to this. You WILL NOT BELIEVE the *very* long list of people I steer clear from because of this. Seriously.
For example, under normal circumstances, I would be intimidated by…….. Chong Bing/ Ho Wai/ Swee Leen.
Yes. -_- So whatever la ok, now the people reading know the reason behind my “snobbishness” – SO COME AND SAY HI TO ME OK. :D
ANYWAY I DIGRESS.
I’m going to miss everybody so much la :(
I super beremo lo just now
But then I was reading this (I LOVE WAITERRANT!!!!!!!) and I’m in a better mood liao (but I’m still sad la) :(
What if I go PMS already then nobody gets my lameness and my hyperness? What if nobody wants to layan me when I go into one of my insanity/random attacks? What if nobody finds my random “drunk on air” moments funny? What if nobody is as patient with me as Tracy is? OMG WHAT IF EVERYBODY IS LIKE BEN?! (haha but it’s okla right I’ve had enough practice dealing with him already HAHA)
What if nobody overlooks my (extremely!!!) rare bimbotic episodes? What if people find my obsessions with random things stupid?
… :(
(whatever la it’s not like anybody’s going to comment on this post except for Chong Bing and Swee Leen. heh)
:(
Good night everybody.
THE WEEKEND IS HERE! WOOHOO! :D
Finally!!!! I’m totally drained :(
These 5 days have been very tiring (being sick), traumatising (getting Dr. HA for the first time in CSU for history taking – YALA I know A LOT OF YOU have been getting him over and over and over again so you all very geng in handling him and all that la… good for you! Let’s pop some champagne! Do you want a pat on the back? Do you want a certificate? A blue ribbon? *eyeroll*), pessimistic (Malaysian Studies Project vs. Convo Mag Fund Raising), and dramatic (this doesn’t need any further elaboration, HAHA).
IT IS TIME TO WIPE THE SLATE CLEAN FOR THE NEW WEEK!
(I sound like a motivational book *cringe*)
The universe can take back whatever shit it is planning to throw at me and … throw it somewhere else for these 3 days. (I typed “and EAT IT” initially but then I decided that that would be pushing my luck :P)
I am going home (15 minutes away from where I am now XD) and nobody is going to ruin my weekend! Whee~!
(I sound a bit drugged – sorry am distracted by INXS and Facebook)
Ok la whatever bye
PS. OH YA I TERLUPA. VICTOR WONG IS ARRIVING IN MALAYSIA IN LIKE ABOUT 18 HOURS LA. Woohoo! (You see me so excited later you see lah some crap happen later then I no chance to meet up with him as often as I want to/ should wan lo. OHNO I UNJYNX MYSELF. Hahaha OKWHATEVER BABAI FOR REAL
It is best to continue deceiving the public into believing that what they think about you is accurate.
(Yes, I am talking about myself, and yes, I do have a certain person in mind)
OMG I’m becoming cryptic ala HRH the (rightful) Emo King! HAHA.
(That was said without ANY malicious intent – reallyyyyyyy!!!)
Wheeeeeeeeeee~
PS. On a totally related matter (I really wanted to abstain from commenting on all this initially -_-), however: I don’t get why people want to read into certain things so deeply. Is it so hard to take things at face value and just leave things the they are? Perhaps reality isn’t interesting enough, so you have to bend it and blow it out of proportion to fulfill your daily quota of drama?
PPS. I find this rather amusing as well: I didn’t think you’d be bothered by something so… horribly… trivial. Consequently, I think that sometimes some of us deserve the treatment we are getting currently…? :)
